About the show “The Following”:
The Following was created by Kevin Williamson, this psychological thriller has Kevin Bacon as the protagonist of the series. Other cast members with a lot of appearances on the show are Shawn Ashmore, James Purefoy and Valorie Curry. There are 2 seasons and 30 episodes so far, each episode runs from 42 to 45 minutes.
This Fox show had around 12 million viewers for the first season, little less for the second.

The Following premiered on January 21, 2013. It had over 10 million viewers, the finale of the first season occurred on April 29, 2013. The second season started airing on January 19, 2014. Once again it had over 10 million viewers, that number reduced as the show was nearing its end, the finale was on April 28, 2014.

There has been confirmation that there will be a third season of this thriller in March.
There is a teaser trailer of the next season and it is expected to be mind-blowing.
The beginning of the season will have flashbacks so the new viewers can adapt, Hardy is in better place, a good relationship with his niece and having a girlfriend gives him hope for a normal life.
The shows air date is March 2, 2015 and should finish in June.
The Following Season 3 Preview
Season 1 Recap:
Ryan Hardy is a former FBI agent, he is asked to consult a board after a serial killer he arrested years ago broke out of prison and killed few guard in the process. Hardy is convinced that he will go after his last victim, the one that got away. Ryan was right but the police was too late. Hardy did catch him but with cconsequences he was stabbed in the heart and now is on pacemaker and a retired FBI agent.
Carroll’s wife visits him and demands to know where their son is, she also confesses to an affair with Ryan Hardy but it happened after the trial and the divorce.
Ryan suspected that Carroll had more than the six acolytes that FBI have identified so far, that proves to be true after a street performer, wearing a Edgar Allan Poe mask (the man that Carroll was inspired by) sets a man on fire and disappears. FBI finds out his identity and questions his wife, after the intorragation they found out that Rick Kester is a dangerous man and separated from his wife.
Flashback reveal us more about Ryan’s earlier life, Meghan is kidnapped by Paul and now he has to figure out what to do with her alongside Emma and Jacob.
Joe Carroll demands that Olivia Warren represents him again, his former attorney, she agrees and reads a passage from Poe and gives orders to Carroll’s followers.
The trio that managed to kidnap Joey Matthews managed to do the same to Ryan. The farmhouse gets surrounded by police and Ryan attempts to convince them that they cannot escape.
They manage to escape from the farmhouse and Emma takes Joey with her to meet her newest contact, Bo.
Joe Carroll manages to escape one again and the FBI are furious, they assign Donovan to the case. Joe starts threatening to Ryan, his powers grow and there is no limit what he can do.
Carroll gets two military trained men to get his wife back to him. Claire meets Joe and explains the desire to give themselves another chance to be a family.
FBI find a new cult called Freedom 13, they believe that 4 members of the cult were part of Carroll’s team. The FBI starts closing in and Joe is taking the final steps of his plan. Joe sets up a trap and Debra is running out of oxygen, its a game of time, will the FBI be fast enough?

Season 2 Recap:
One year has passed since Joe died and a new cult seems to be on the rise, more dangerous than ever. Subways killings occur. Ryan intervenes with the FBI investigation, the bureau find out. Joe gets back to civilization. Lily’s attempts to bring Joe to her world don’t bode well with Emma.
Lily makes plans to flee to Venezuela with Joe. The girls alongside Joe join an organized cult, Joe starts taking control of the cult. Carroll starts making plans to reveal to everyone that he is in fact still alive.
Claire decides that after a year spent in the witness protection program that she wants her life back. Ryan finds out that Claire is alive. Lily attempts to kill Joe. Emma and Claire have their biggest confrontation, Ryan joins Joe in an attempt to save Claire.
