Watching old TV shows can surely bring back some memories, either a time frame, a smell or some faded notions of good times.

You may remember you had an object like that in your house, but you can’t remember where it is now. For sure, some of the topics will be outdated and will make you laugh at how serious they were treated back then. They hadn’t had high budgets or exquisite sets, but they taught us some values. She is offered instead the function of associate producer of the station’s “Six O’clock News”. She befriends the other employees and, later, she will become the producer of the show. The series touches on some sensitive topics such as pre-marital sex, homosexuality, marital infidelity, prostitution, death, drug addiction and many other social issues. At the end, after a couple of more or less serious relationships, Mary remains single.

The Honeymooners Old TV Show

Ed Norton, his best friend is always at his side and together they try to score the jackpot easy and fast, but every time failing miserably. When they do that, they impute the misfortune on others, until someone contradicts them. And that someone is Alice, who constantly sustains her position and she does it very well. Being so bold steps on Ralph’s nerves and he threatens her. Those short bursts of anger are quickly replaced with remorse, which doesn’t last long. And Ralph is back at doing his things. In many episodes Ralph’s temper gets the best of him and he shake the fist at Alice, implying physical violence. In reply, Alice teases him about his weight. Throughout the series, Alice not once backed down.

STORYLINE: Set in Astoria section of Queens, the show follows Archie Bunker, a working-class chauvinist and a World War II veteran with solid opinions about society and norms. He dismisses every valid argument with stubbornness and obtuseness. He misses the times when people with similar views were in charge. In spite of his intolerance, he is portrayed as decent and agreeable, a man who tries to fit in a world which he doesn’t understand. Edith, his wife, is the reverse of Archie’s personality. She is understanding and lovable and she’s the one to put up with her husband. In a couple occasions she proved to be a wise woman. Their only child, Gloria, is married with Michael Stivic who is still a student. If Gloria has the kindness of her mother and her father’s rebelliousness, Mike is the living proof of two-generation clash. They permanently tease and provoke each other on subjects like politics, society, religion. When Mike graduates, he and Gloria move in the house next door, which badly irritates Archie. The show catches their inter-personal dynamics.
